The North Carolina Outdoors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2024 to support the mission of the NC Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission and youth outdoor learning across the State.
The NC Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission's mission is to encourage and strengthen young North Carolinians' connection to nature by providing opportunities to engage with the outdoors.
The Commission's grants and programs are available to NC schools and nonprofits and aid in providing outdoor learning experiences and constructing outdoor learning spaces.
